The brand remains in the hands of the Ruocco family, Caprese for generations, who continue to preserve and honour this legacy.

Just steps from the Gardens of Augustus, Carthusia operates what is often described as the smallest fragrance laboratory in the world. For over two decades, the house has focused on expressing the essence of Made in Italy within niche perfumery—combining heritage with a clear, contemporary vision.

Tradition and craftsmanship remain central. Each stage of production is carried out by hand, respecting natural methods and ensuring a high level of care and precision.
