24/7 access to natural skin care and perfume

Real Skin Care, a leading webshop in high-quality natural (skin) care and perfume, has officially opened the doors of its first physical store. The boutique is located in the heart of Amsterdam, next to De Negen Straatjes, and offers an on-demand service outside regular opening hours that allows for 24/7 appointments. Melanie Oterdoom, founder of Real Skin Care, is at the heart of the beauty concept through her passion for high-quality natural skincare, coupled with dedication to delivering effective products.

Anyone who sets one foot across the threshold of the new store immediately shakes off the hubbub of Amsterdam’s Nine Streets. A serene space presents the full range of products, from facial and hair care to bath salts and perfume. Real Skin Care is distinguished by a very strict selection and testing method. Melanie Oterdoom emphasizes, “We don’t sell anything we don’t fully support. Every product is extensively tested; if it does not work completely or does not smell pleasant, for example, it does not come into our store or webshop.”

Real Skin Care’s mission focuses on fulfilling an ever-increasing need for natural yet affordable luxury products. “Our goal is to be able to offer customers high-quality natural products at a reasonable price. To do this, we also look beyond our own borders, seeking out the best products from all over the world,” adds Melanie.

After years of working as a real estate entrepreneur, Melanie also decided to follow her passion for skin care and perfume which led to the creation of Real Skin Care. Through her previous experiences in TV productions and connections at trade shows, she discovered several effective products not yet available elsewhere. With Real Skin Care, she now also keeps an eye on testing current skin care trends. Vitamin C serums, retinol creams and items such as Jennifer Joan Cleansing Oil and Von Eusersdorff perfume are currently very popular for their good efficacy and quality. Melanie’s personal favorites are the Sleep Tight Face Balm by Amly Botanicals and the L’Objet bath salts Bois Sauvage.

ORDER

An online order is processed once payment has been accepted by Real-Skin-Care. Real-Skin-Care reserves the right to refuse orders placed by customers involved in any previous problems involving payment. Real-Skin-Care also reserves the right to request any necessary information from the customer, such as proof of identity or proof of address. If the customer does not respond within 5 days, their order will be automatically cancelled. Real-Skin-Care is only committed to carrying out received orders if stocks allow it.

DELIVERY TO MAINLAND THE NETHERLANDS

Every order made before 3pm on a weekday is dispatched on the same day. Any orders placed on a weekend will be dispatched on the following Monday and any orders made on a bank holiday will be dispatched on the next working day.
Shipping is handled by PostNL. Real-Skin-Care cannot be held responsible for any delivery delays. Also, we package all our products carefully, so we can’t be held accountable if your package is damaged through transport. With PostNL you can use Track&Trace to monitor your package, so we can’t be held responsible for missing packages.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

International delivery is managed by Post NL according to destination. And will take 2 to 5 business days. Cost €15 for Europe and €25 for the rest of the world.
Every order made before 3pm on a weekday is dispatched on the same day. Any orders placed on a weekend will be dispatched on Monday and any orders made on a bank holiday will be dispatched on the next working day.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

You can request a product exchange up to 15 days after placing an order. All costs for returns sent from mainland The Netherlands or outside of mainland The Netherlands are charged to the customer.

RETURNS POLICY

If the customer is requesting a return, the product must be in brand new condition, unopened and in its original packaging. Before sending, the customer should attach the order number and returns request to the product(s), specifying which product(s) they are wishing to exchange.
We recommend the customer uses a delivery service that provides a tracking number. If the returns request is refused by Real-Skin-Care, it will then be returned to the customer with no charge and they will receive no refund or exchange. If a product is returned without a returns request attached, then Real-Skin-Care will automatically create and send the Customer a gift card.
Real-Skin-Care gift cards are can be spent on any available products on our e-store and are valid for a year. Gift cards cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other offer and are only valid one at a time.
